How I work

A set fee is charged for the planning and coordination service, based on the number of guests attending.  Each item or service that you require, from flowers to food to fireworks is then selected by you from my recommended suppliers.  I will always try to find you a number of options to choose from until we find a solution you are happy with; I do not work exclusively with any suppliers.  I provide guidance and recommendations but you are not obliged to include anything that you haven’t selected yourself.

I also offer a concierge service for the days surrounding the main event, making bookings at the best places for wining and dining, exploring and being pampered.

My Philosophy

Passion. Dedication. Honesty.

The idea behind my business is a dedicated and completely personal service. I won’t promise to deliver something that is unrealistic; I’m very aware of the restrictions of an island destination with a tropical climate and limited skilled vendors. Unlike other companies, my fee is a pre-agreed amount, not a percentage of the overall cost (so it doesn’t make a difference to me how much you spend!). As my client you are my priority and my sole aim is to create the wedding experience you want as truly as I can.

I LOVE weddings and I’m always up to date with all of the new trends whilst discovering quirky twists on the traditional to keep my events fresh and exciting for those who attend.

About Alexaabout

I practiced a degree in Film Production at Edinburgh College of Art where I trained as a production manager. With the carnival of the annual Fringe Festival, I was whisked into the world of live events and worked on various art, theatre, comedy and music productions. During a trip over the whole of South East Asia, I returned to Thailand 3 times before deciding to settle in Samui. I worked first for the solidly established Faraway Weddings, where I enjoyed organizing 60 beautiful beach weddings. I then moved on to work with the exclusive YL Residence (which remains one of my favourite wedding venues) before deciding to go solo.

I decided to start my own company because mixing the element of travel and adventure with awesome events is quite simply what I love to do.
